Meet Deb

Making decisions can be exhausting.

Ensuring the decisions we have made were right can haunt a leader for years.  Of course, one of the key aspects of effective leadership is the ability to make sound decisions, that’s why effective leaders are in such high demand.

We are regularly faced with changes in resources, priorities, goals and strategies, usually with a time clock ticking away in the background.  While some leaders appear to make decisions quickly and accurately, most have cultivated this ability over time. The fact is that each of us can make effective decisions.

Use this leaders checklist for effective decisions  to help guide you through making the leader’s choice.

Besides running your upcoming decision through this checklist look at decisions you’ve made in the past that did not deliver the result you had hoped for and evaluate which area’s of this checklist it would have failed. Once you get in the habit of using this checklist effectively, share it with the rest of your team and elevate their decision making in the process.

  1. This is a great checklist, thanks for sharing it!
