Meet Deb

Basics are the cornerstones that so many companies overlook in hard times, but basics are timeless.
Sure they’ll need some modernizing but effective leaders reinforce the fact that business basics is where we need to go back to in order to assess how far from the course we had veered.
So many companies lose sight of this lesson. The basics they excelled at,the ones that positioned them onto a wave of success were taken for granted, watered down and these companies soon lose their ‘Mojo.’
I’m grateful that I worked over 20 years for a CEO who never let us forget that the basics can always be brought to the next level, because they can Now as an entrepreneur, I know the power a firm foundation has on every business.
Be sure to add the basics as part of your business performance review each year. Bring them and your business to the next level.

  1. My specialty is pricing and I see this being ignored quite a bit in business. In the blue collar business world much of what companies do is because “that’s the way we always did it”. Because of that many of the basics are completely ignored.

Often, the lack of focus on basics is what causes a company to lose the most profit.
