Meet Deb

Moving into a new mindset can be challenging and at the very least it takes work.

Billy Mills was a runner.

He also was a 10,000 Meter Gold Medal Winner.

Listen at 2:25 when he talks about how he shifted his self talk from

“one more try, one more try, one more try”  to

” I won, I won, I won”

Then watch at 3:00 when his stride became so fast it almost seemed supernatural in nature.

So for my friends running this weekend in the NY Marathon and for those who are looking to launch a new project or goal, take a hint from Bill’s self talk shift and move faster than you have before!

  1. That’s the power of your mind! Thanks for sharing.

Great story, Deb! Thanks for sharing!

  3. What an outstanding example of how much our thoughts can affect our reality. Talk about the power of positive thinking, it was remarkable how he had any kick left in him after 10,000 meters to run that fast. We all need to have one of those “I won, I won, I won” shifts in our thinking. Imagine what we could accomplish if we just believed we could. Thanks for the great post and video Deb.

When I saw this video I had to watch it several times because I just couldn’t believe my eyes…control our thoughts…control our destiny!
