Meet Deb

Dad not sureDid you ever have one of those days?

You know, the one where you’re re-thinking your life, career, decisions, everything that is the fabric of your life today.

We all have them.  Sometimes the catalyst is a bad day or experience, and we can just shake it off, and the feeling goes away.

But sometimes it lingers.  Sometimes it gnaws, sometimes it distracts us from the pleasant moments in our lives.  We’re out with friends and they’re telling us about an exciting new project they’re working on and when they turn to us to ask us what’s going on with us, we say…”Um same old same old, you know”.

Sometimes same old same old with a glint in our eyes is a great thing.  It says, nothing new but it is good.  And sometimes, it means, ouch, nothing new, or exciting, and it is k-i-l-l-i-n-g me because I get no satisfaction out of it whatsoever.

When that happens, it is time for a change.

It’s time we find something that excites us, something that satisfies us, something that uses our strengths and ignites our passions.

Now of course some of us have taken a few decades to get to that ‘one thing’, but it exists for each of us. Sometimes it is a succession of one things strung together that makes for a life rich in satisfying experiences where we lead in our strengths and contribute in away that is meaningful. For some, it’s a lifelong commitment that does not seem like work at all.

To make the difference, find your best focus.  Find the areas that use your strengths abilities and passions. Find a way to give your gift and be the leader you were mean to be.

There is no better time than right now to LEAD in your Strengths.
